Cintiq 12WX
I purchased a Cintiq 12WX and it's totally sweet (for drawing). Complex symbol animation is kind of a burden on it.

Newgrounds Characters
I sketched this thing out with the full intention of coloring it in Corel Painter 9. I keep trying to get back into the painting scene but I don't want to deal with real paint again and the allure of "digital paint" is very tempting.
Then, I failed and wasn't pleased with my results, so like a total failure I reverted back to coloring in flash. I spent two whole days messing around with color schemes AND I JUST DON'T KNOW ANYMORE I GIVE UP.
BLOBS
Kevin over at Bearskinrug put up a little drawing exercise where you draw vague shapes then interpret them into characters, objects, etc. I think it's a pretty good idea.
I did 4 here from his wife's blob sketches and then went back to watching the food network and discovery channel.

Forza Motorsport 2 Paintjobs
This game has some of the most heinous drawing tools ever, but just the fact that they exist means my OCD has taken over and I'm spending all night designing cars and not even racing.
Of course, theres better designs out there, but I've only been at this for a week and I WILL RULE ALL.
(I drew Guile myself, and kinda eyeballed Akuma's face from some artwork online..YES I LIKE STREET FIGHTER, FUCK OFF)
