Considering the word "animation" rarely even passes through my head, I'm the last person I ever thought I'd see in this magazine of all places. I took the liberty of pasting in the foreward just to illustrate how rediculous this is.

 I was lumped in with Directors, Creators, and Animators from Disney, Tippett Studios, Aardman Animations, Sony Pictures Animation, Dreamworks Animation, etc. WHAT.

 Anyways, thank you Animation Magazine, I hope whoever picked me doesn't get fired for this.

Anyways, I also got some character art in Castle Crashers, a soon to be released xbox live game. 

P.S. I still hate the entire planet, that will never change.

I purchased a Cintiq 12WX and it's totally sweet (for drawing). Complex symbol animation is kind of a burden on it.

I sketched this thing out with the full intention of coloring it in Corel Painter 9. I keep trying to get back into the painting scene but I don't want to deal with real paint again and the allure of "digital paint" is very tempting.

Then, I failed and wasn't pleased with my results, so like a total failure I reverted back to coloring in flash. I spent two whole days messing around with color schemes AND I JUST DON'T KNOW ANYMORE I GIVE UP.

Kevin over at Bearskinrug put up a little drawing exercise where you draw vague shapes then interpret them into characters, objects, etc. I think it's a pretty good idea.

I did 4 here from his wife's blob sketches and then went back to watching the food network and discovery channel.
